Horseshoe Trail Marker_1
Description: Here is a horseshoe trail marker. A horseshoe would be carved into a rock (or sometimes and actual horseshoe would be placed) to signify a trail. The closed end of the shoe would indicate the direction of travel. Sometimes you will find a carving of 2 shoes with the open ends facing each other. This simply signifies that this is the trail both in and out.
