Been awhile since I updated the site so I thought that I would drop by with some updates.  First off you may notice the addition of the calendar at the right side of the page along with the addition to some events related links in the user menu.  The ability to add events and venues is only available to registered users as are many of the newer functions of the site.  My opinion on this subject is that if you do not wish to become a member and participate and contribute, then you shouldn't have access to all that we have, or are going to have to offer!  I am planning on adding a ton of new stuff over the winter and I know that Thom has been thinking of adding a ton of stuff as well.  Some of this info may be open to the public, some may be for registered members only and some may become accessible to paid members only.  Time will tell.  We are also starting a group - The Prospectors, Adventurers and Treasure Hunters Association (PATHA)  And our current, active and contributing members will get grandfathered in with a lifetime membership once it goes paid.  The information that you will receive will be valuable beyond any annual dues that will be charged.  This of course will take some time as I need to add everything in to the site that the paid members will receive before considering doing it.  Lots of stuff to do!

Bobby and I are heading up to the mountains to look at a prospective gold claim in a couple of weeks and we are on the look out for a nice claim that we can use for members to have access to as well as a great meeting place for Colorado members for a weekend or two.  Somewhere that we can bring the trommel and dredges out to and have a great time hunting for gold!

Tons of plans, loads of dreams and a heck of a lot of work!  So please be patient and hang in there, as we get stuff done, we'll let you know about it!
