Well, it's been a long time coming, but I am now updating the McDonald Family Page.  In all of the years that we have been up and running over a million people have wandered into these pages and visited awhile.  I hope that the face lift is well received, and I hope that you join the site, (of course it's free), and use it to it's fullest potential.  I have added a forum, a chat room, a picture gallery and articles pertaining to the Clan Donald and genealogy in general.  There are links to great resources to help you along your way and I plan to add tons more as well!

Many may know that after the deaths of my son and two grandsons I pretty much dropped off the face of the earth for awhile, and then, the death of my father a mere two years later did'nt help me much either!  While I stilltend to slow down a lot these days, I am slowly picking up the pieces and trying to get my life back together.  The McDonald family genealogy was one of my greatest passions, and sadly, for the last four years I have not touched a thing involving the Clan or genealogy.  but, that is all going to change!

So, come on in and stay for awhile.  Sign up and make a home for yourself.  Give me suggestions on what you would like to see in the forum or elswhere to make this a better place for you and others.  Welcome all of you to the McDonald Family Home Page.

Ni h-eibhneas gan Chlainn Domhnaill - It is no joy without Clan Donald!
