Jason was a little angel. We would take him with us to the mountains every weekend and he just loved it! He would sit in his car seat and look around at everything he saw with wide eyed amazement. He spent a lot of time in Georgetown and Idaho Springs and also got to visit Central City, Blackhawk, Russel Gulch, Silver Plume, Empire and of course his home town of Commerce City. Jason was a very happy baby. Even though he was teething you could catch him trying to smile even when he was in pain! He had the sweetest little laugh and the most contagious smile. He had been working very hard at trying to crawl and would roll all over the floor to get to where he wanted to go. He knew how to dance too! He would lie on his tummy and push up as far as he could with his arms and then he would smile and gently rock back and forth to the music.

Jason loved his older sister, Ivy, tons! They would sit together for hours while she talked to him and held his bottle or just tickled him! I wish everyone could have seen his smile, it was a smile from the very depths of his heart! His entire face would light up and you could tell that he was truly happy.

    Tears In Heaven
    Eric Clapton and Will Jennings

Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same if I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on,
    'Cause I know I don't belong
    here in heaven.

Would you hold my hand if I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand if I saw you in heaven?
I'll find my way through night and day,
    'Cause I know I just can't stay
    here in heaven.

Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees.
Time can break your heart, have you begging please,
    begging please.

Beyond the door there's peace I'm sure,
And I know there'll be no more
    tears in heaven.

Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same if I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on,
    'Cause I know I don't belong
    here in heaven.
