    Who You'd Be Today
    by Kenny Chesney

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
Wear the pain like a heavy coat
I feel you everywhere I go
See your smile, I see your face
I hear you laughing in the rain
    Still can't believe your gone

It ain't fair you died to young
Like a story that had just begun
But death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Just knowing, no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder, who you'd be today

    Would you see the world
    Would you chase your dreams
    Settle down with a family
I wonder what would you name your babies
    Someday's the sky's so blue
I feel like I can talk to you
And I know it might sound crazy

It ain't fair you died to young
Like a story that had just begun
But death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Just knowing, no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder, who you'd be today

    Today, today, today
    Today, today, today

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
I wear the pain like a heavy coat
The only thing that gives me hope
Is I know, I'll see you again someday

    Someday, someday

  • 1/05/09 - Thank you to everyone that has over the years, and still today have provided us with comfort. With all of the hate and anger in the world you sometimes lose faith in people, but then when someone is hurt or down you find out that people really do care! At least most peole. Another year has come without our boys, and while we continue to move forward with every new day, I can tell you that the pain, at least for me, has yet to lessen in any way.
  • 8/28/08 - We are still in the process of healing and I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time in the past and those that still are, to send us thier wishes and prayers! We really do appreciate it. Something like this happens to you and it really destroys you. Many people dont understand why, three years later, we are still in such pain, and they probably never will. We move on after a tragedy like this, thats all you can do, but the pain never seems to lessen or fade. All of you that take the time to share in a little bit of our lost loved ones lives make the difference. Thank you ever so much!
  • 7/4/07 - Happy 4th of July guys. The fourth of July was by far Barry Jr's favorite holiday! Miss you tons, it never gets easier.
  • 4/12/07 - Today, much too soon, I am saddened by the fact that I am adding my father, Paul F. McDonald to this page. My father died unexpectedly on April 10th, 2007 of throat cancer. There were no services, no funeral, no closure.
  • 9/12/06 - For those of you that are unable to visit the boys memorial, I thought that I would post a picture of what it looks like today so that you can see it. Click the picture below to view the memorial stone as it looks now:
  • 7/27/06 - Well, the trial is over and in it's wake it leaves more questions than answers. Carlos plead guilty to one count of careless driving resulting in death (naming all three boys) with a sentence of one year in jail, suspended on the condition that Carlos successfully complete five years of probation. He was also ordered to complete 300 hours of community service, to pay restitution and he will lose 4 points on his license. It would appear that there is some serious question as to the involvement of another driver though! While the county is unable to prove his (the other drivers) involvement, it would really appear that he may have a lot to do with this. If you, or anyone you know may have seen the accident occur (July 20th, 2005 at about 7:01 pm on Hwy 2 near 96th ave.) please contact me at:
    bmcdonald@exiledangel.com
If someone else forced Carlos into oncomming traffic than they have gotten away with murder and they need to be held accountable.
  • Memorial Stone - The Memorial Stone for the boys was installed. You can click HERE to see it.
  • 12/01/05 - The boys sign is up, at last:

and it has been moved to the correct spot, it looks real nice, thank you CDOT!

  • All donations go to the care of the memorial plot.
